Earth Science Week Contests 2007Photography ContestAndrew Burkus of Columbus, Georgia won 1st place in this year's Earth Science Week photo contest with his photo of travertine deposits at Minerva Terrace in Yellowstone National Park. Treasures". Submissions could include print or digital photographs. Visual Arts ContestJay Purohit of Plano, Texas won 1st place in the Visual Arts contest with his poster about the many aspects of our Changing Earth. Click here to see his art. piece of artwork illustrating the theme "Changing Earth." Essay ContestShanniqua Mendiola of Yigo, Guam won 1st place in the Essay contest with her essay about Earth science on her island home.
