Earth Science Organizations

AGI offers the Earth Science Organizations (ESO) database as a resource to assist educators in their efforts to research and identify potential partners in the local Earth science community for educational activities. Best of luck in forging successful partnerships -- and have a successful Earth Science Week!

The ESO database includes state and national organizations, which may be sponsoring activities and events during Earth Science Week. When you contact these organizations, be sure to ask them if they produce educational and public awareness materials, maps, guidebooks, or technical publications. Some of the materials, such as student activities, may be of special interest in preparing for Earth Science Week. You'll find a wealth of useful Earth science materials on the Web.

Search for organizations using the form below, or view organizations on state-by-state Google maps.

Several of the AGI Member Societies have regional sections or chapters. If that information is not on their web sites, you can probably get it from the national headquarters.
