Earth Science OrganizationsAGI offers the Earth Science Organizations (ESO) database as a resource to assist educators in their efforts to research and identify potential partners in the local Earth science community for educational activities. Best of luck in forging successful partnerships -- and have a successful Earth Science Week! ESO information is available by state:
Click on the map for organizations in your state.
The ESO database includes state and national organizations, which may be sponsoring activities and events during Earth Science Week. When you contact these organizations, be sure to ask them if they produce educational and public awareness materials, maps, guidebooks, or technical publications. Some of the materials, such as student activities, may be of special interest in preparing for Earth Science Week. You'll find a wealth of useful Earth science materials on the Web. Several of the AGI Member Societies have regional sections or chapters. If that information is not on their web sites, you can probably get it from the national headquarters.Click here for additional Earth Science Organizations. |
