EARTH SCIENCE WEEK UPDATE: Special Alert!
American Geosciences Institute - July 2018

What's New in Federal Geoscience Education Policy

Curious about the federal policy developments that affect your work in Earth science education? Then you'll want to check out the debut issue of Federal Geoscience Education Policy Review (EPR).

Provided by AGI's Department of Education and Policy, which organizes Earth Science Week, this mid-year review summarizes key federal policy actions from January through June 2018 that are relevant to geoscience educators. EPR breaks down funding of federal science and education agencies for 2018 and 2019, congressional legislation affecting STEM education, White House initiatives and agency updates, and various federal grants, meetings, and reports.

To read the full review, simply visit Federal Geoscience Education Policy Review online.

To sign up to receive EPR twice a year, just go to AGI Subscription Mailing List and select Education Policy Review. After you sign up, you'll receive a confirmation email from AGI Public Relations at outreach@americangeosciences.org. Please click the link in this email to confirm your subscription.

We hope you find this first edition of EPR useful and informative, and we appreciate feedback to improve future editions. Please send comments to govt@americangeosciences.org.
