Geoscience for Everyone Day

The geosciences involve every sphere of the Earth- from rocks and minerals to the atomsphere, from Earth’s water sources to its ecosystems – everyone is affected by the geosciences. Join the Earth Science Week team in encouraging everyone to learn about Earth Science and explore careers in the geosciences!

How to get involved

If you’re an educator, invite a geoscientist to speak in your classroom.

If you’re a geoscientist, visit a school or volunteer at a science center.

Organize a scout event, lead a field trip, or hold a special “Take Your Child to Work Day.” You can make a real difference by opening a young person’s eyes to the exciting opportunities available in Earth Science!
