ESW 2006 Contest Photography Winner (Carson Conover)

Carson Conover of Orrtanna, Pennsylvania won 1st place in this years Earth Science Week photo contest with his picture of windmills on the waters edge.

Submissions illustrated the theme “Using and Studying Earth’s Resources.” The goal was to create pictorial evidence of Earth resources is an exciting way. Submissions could include print or digital photographs.

ESW 2006 Contest Visual Art Winner (Rama Bushra Imad)

Rama Bushra Imad of Houston, Texas won 1st in the Visual Arts contest with her drawing depicting the Earth’s atmoshpere layers and mission control in Houston.

Students in grades K-5 made a drawing, collage or other 2-dimensional piece of artwork illustrating the theme “Earth Science in Your Home Town.”

Essay Contest
